Featherweight boxer Elizabeth Oshoba and super-middleweight boxer Oluwatosin Kejawa are both delighted after qualifying for the Commonwealth title fights, The PUNCH reports.

Oshoba defeated Kirsty Hill by points 58-56 to improve her professional record to (4-0-0-3KOs) after six rounds at York Hall in London, United Kingdom.

Kejawa also won his fight on points, triumphing over Ukrainian Serhii Ksendzov 60-54, after six rounds rounds of their super-middleweight clash last Saturday.

Speaking to The PUNCH, Oshoba said, “I feel so great that I was able to win the fight and qualified for the Commonwealth fights and I thank God for giving me the victory.

“I really prepared for the fight and gave all it took while in the training camp.”

The 23-year-old is now eager for the title fights although the schedule is yet to be announced.

“I am looking forward to fight for the titles and I want to keep winning and improve my record to get the title and make everyone proud,” Oshoba said.

On his part, Kejawa vowed to keep winning.

“I feel good about the win, I prepared very well for the fight because I am aware that my opponent is a very tough guy.

“Now, the plan is to keep winning and get the title at the Commonwealth fights, I know it will be difficult but I will keep training and hope on God,” Kejawa told The PUNCH.

Oshoba and Kejawa both fight under Prosperity Sports Managements in the United Kingdom.
